About Groovy Mondays
Groovy Mondays is an open stage and concert series that started in August 2001. Since then, hundreds of musicians from around the world have performed on our stage. In 2003, Groovy Mondays released the first compilation CD called "Groovy Mondays Live at Holy Joe's".

The CD contains 19 musicians, all of whom have been previously featured performers.  After a small tour of Ontario, the CD became available for purchase at MapleMusic.  (www.maplemusic.com)

The CD artwork, music and production was donated and all money raised from the sale of the CD goes to ArtsCan Circle. (www.artscancircle.ca)

In October 2005, Groovy Mondays changed venues, from Holy Joe's to the NOW Lounge and introduced a new workshop series to complement the open stage series.

Groovy Mondays in partnership with Long & McQuade Musical Instruments, now provide a limited backline of a full-size Roland keyboard, with weighted keys and an Epiphone acoustic, plug-in guitar.

Also, look for new weekly advertisements and listings in Toronto's independent weekly NOW Magazine.

Stay tuned for news of a new CD to be released in 2006.

Most recently, Groovy Mondays has established an experienced Board of Directors, to help organize and make Groovy Mondays a more focussed and stable organization that will continue to benefit all musicians in the future.
